Common Broker Forms - CBDI is proud to be GA for Delta Dental PA - 2009 Plans and Rates

Delta Dental has enhanced its plans for Small Business.

Delta Dental has reduced rates, expanded industry eligibility and enhanced benefits for many of its dental plans designed for businesses with 5 to 99 employees.

One of the biggest changes is the introduction of the Delta Dental PPO plus Premier plan in place of the Delta Dental Premier program. PPO plus Premier gives employees access not only to dentists in the Premier network, but also dentists in the PPO network, who can save employees even more money.

The PPO plus Premier plan comes with a higher annual maximum of $2,000 for PPO dentists; the annual maximum of the traditional PPO program remains at $1,500.

In addition, rates have been cut for dental plans in many areas of the Mid-Atlantic region. See the rate sheet for details.

Delta Dental’s Small Business Plans will appeal to small business owners for other reasons:

·           The industry rating levels have been streamlined making Delta Dental plans    more affordable for more industries.
·            Benefits for pregnant women and for implant coverage have been added as  standard coverage.
·            No waiting periods for major services and orthodontics for partially employer-paid plans for groups with 25 to 99 employees. The waiting period for major  services for groups with fewer than 25 employees and no prior coverage remains unchanged; orthodontic eligibility has changed to a six-month waiting period from a requirement that an employer be a Delta Dental customer for at least one year.
·            More voluntary plans are available, including options in PPO plus Premier.
·            Delta Dental now offers an entry-level plan with a more affordable price, a lower deductible and a basic benefits package.
·            Student age has been increased to 25 from 23.
·            Domestic-partner coverage is now available.
·            The price structure in New York has been shifted to three tiers from two tiers for more statewide consistency.

With the range of options and pricing now available, there is a Delta Dental program that meets the benefits and financial needs of nearly every small business.
